5 Considerations | Leadership Capacity, Systems Thinking and the Networking Mindset:
Instead of worrying about how to leverage new relationships, focus on cultivating strong friendships and mentoring relations.
Our mental models can cloud our vision and we forget that that every human has an innate desire of being appreciate, valued and connected.
When we are genuinely interested in the lives, work, goals or ideals of others; building a shared vision becomes a possibility.
When you truthfully care more about the person rather than what they can provide, people will help you in ways that you had never expected or imagined.
Everyone, regardless of their success, position or power, appreciates kindness and assistance. Be the one that takes interest in people for who they are and what they believe in. Be the odd person out, who reaches out to someone to make his or her life simpler.
"Be entrepreneurial in your relationship-building process." ~ Sar Haribhakti.
