John MacBeath in "Leadership for learning: concepts, principles and practice" believes that it is important to have a concerted focus on learning as we manage our schools. Although this may sound obvious, it is worthwhile to think about how we are purposefully creating the conditions for learning to happen for not only our students, but for our  teachers and ourselves as well. And if we are doing this, are we taking the opportunity to promote our schools as a learning organizations?
